These Harare Zimbabwe Haka Game Lodge Anniversary Pictures are near and dear to my heart! It’s not very often I get to home home to Zimbabwe, so on my last trip back I knew I needed to make the most of it. I just had to photograph a couple in the Zimbabwe bush landscape that I grew up with. Josh and Helen Kindly agreed to my wild ideas, and allowed me to photograph them for their anniversary session. I wanted to celebrate the love of a sweet couple, but also revel deeply in this wonderful country.

Anniversary Sessions are some of my favourite.

They celebrate the depth of marriage and a different and intimate way. The love has weather some storms, and the shoot is not just about the glitz and glam, but rather simply about the love these two share!

Every Detail was planned to celebrate the beauty of Zimbabwe.

We chose Helen’s dress, from ASOS, to mirror the pink colors of a special pink grass that grows in Zimbabwe. My mother used to pick these grasses and make bunches of them to keep on the dining room table. So we carefully chose colors to mirror the African landscape and grasslands.

Josh and Helen are so darling together, their infectious smiles for one another are incredible. And the depth and love they share truly made this photoshoot a once-in-a-lifetime special time! There really aren’t words to describe how special the combination of celebrating marriage and this special country was! But I think it shows on their faces!
