These Fun loving Classic Summer Denver Engagement Pictures, are some of my favorites! Matt and Cara flew in from Chicago to take their engagement photos at some of Denver’s finest city parks. Colorado gave us the perfect warm summer June day, albeit it a little breezy, we couldn’t have asked for more wonderful weather. Our engagement session started out at Wash Park, and enjoyed the flower gardens and lake views. Then ended the evening at Cheesman Park to capture the iconic Pavillion.

These two were an absolute joy to photograph, I am not sure I have laughed so hard at an engagement session before. We seriously just had the most fun together. I can’t say how wonderful it is to photograph a couple that has fun together. Of course we love those sweet and romantic moments too. But the joyful smiles are just the best! Don’t be afraid to have fun at your engagement session. We will always want to capture those elegant timeless moments, smiles, and details. However, giggles and showing your happiness and love for one-another allows for your session to not be so formal. It keeps your relaxed and just having an altogether great time together! Your engagement session should be loads of fun, and full laughter.

Dressing the part, really shows off your personalities more!

Outfits really do say a lot about you in your pictures. Matt and Cara have the best sense of style! I loved their choices in outfits. They complemented the summer, each other, and their outfits brought their personalities out. I always say you want to dress up a little bit for your engagement session, but in whatever that means for you! Your outfits set the tone for your photographs, and you want to put thought and planning into it. I loved their stylish looks, so classy! We also adored Cara’s hair and makeup by Megan Cary Artistry!

Their August Wedding is sure to be amazing!

I can’t wait to photograph their Aspen wedding with First Look Events, later this summer! I know it’s not only going to be sunning, but full of so much love. These two adore each other, and their big day is going to be incredible!
