There’s nothing like Fall Apple Picking Picnic Engagement Pictures in Portland Maine
It’s tradition in Maine to go apple picking in the fall, and these two took it up a notch with the cutest engagement apple orchard photo shoot ever! Cassie wanted to surprise Dustin with something extra special for their Portland Engagement Pictures. Their year had been full of busyness, and job demands. She wanted to create a unique photo shoot experience to celebrate the love they share. Dustin is the cook of their relationship, and he loves being outdoors whenever possible. So what better way to celebrate him – than with a secret picnic. Cassie scouted out Randalls Orchard in Standish, Maine for the perfect orchard full of lots of juicy red apples.
Every last detail was perfectly crafted for this engagement picnic.
Cassie put so much thought into every little detail! She brought apple cider, apple donuts, baked his favorite pumpkin pie, and of course picked some fresh juicy red apples from the nearby trees. The fact that she went out of her way to design something she knew he would love was an incredible gift to give him. Cassie is an amazing wedding planner herself; it was no surprise that she put together something so wonderful. Check out her work at Doting Details and see her blog post about the shoot here . Dustin knew they were taking pictures, but had no idea about the picnic. It was the sweetest surprise, and the best date ever. They sipped on their cider, and danced in the orchard – celebrating the two of them and the love that they share. We had the most perfect fall Maine weather, and enjoyed every minute of it. Cassie and Dustin are truly the sweetest together, and it was an honor to photograph part of their love-story!
