This Classy Denver Museum of Nature & Science Summer Wedding was one for the books. With incredible planning and coordination from Calluna Events everything came together for Erik and Noran perfectly! Noran and her closest friends started out by getting ready at the Denver Four Seasons. Then the super chic outdoor ceremony and reception took place at The Denver Museum of Science and Nature. It was such a unique and fun venue for a Denver City wedding, and I was honored to photograph it.
We have a few notes from our dear bride Noran that I wanted to share with you.
Erik and I met in Washington, DC while waiting in line for a museum exhibit. We were stuck in line for over an hour, which gave him plenty of time to strike up conversation! We ended up touring the exhibit together and the rest is history. I’m from Cairo and Erik is from Colorado, so bringing together a Middle Eastern mountain wedding was quite the mash-up. We wanted our guests from overseas to experience Colorado’s beauty, so we arranged a hike on the Flatirons in Boulder the morning of the wedding and our venue overlooked the beautiful city of Denver and the Rockies. We had a Middle Eastern lute player with traditional Arabic music for the ceremony, and our mothers read an Arabic poem in both languages. Most importantly, both families jumped right in for belly dancing and Dabke (traditional Middle Eastern line dancing)!
This fabulous Classy Denver Museum of Nature & Science Summer Wedding was featured on Couture Colorado.
We were so excited to see this wedding featured on Couture Colorado, and you can see the featured post HERE. We adored all the classic details that this wedding had to offer, it really showed off our fabulous couple, and their tastes and aesthetic. The green and white themes throughout were so very elegant, and Denver Design Works created the most wonderful setup for the ceremony, reception and florals!
