I am so excited to share this Classic Breckenridge Colorado Ten Mile Station Wedding with you! Nick and Carolyn wanted to show Colorado off at their wedding, and what better spot than Ten Mile Station to do so!
The Breckenridge, Colorado Mountains were in perfect form for their wedding day.
The ladies starting getting ready at a family cabin, where the views started and seemed to never end. It was the most calm, and serene mountain backdrop to begin the day with. Breck has some truly incredible peaks to admire. Then we headed up to Ten Mile for the wedding celebrations to begin. We had sunshine, and some rain, in typical Colorado summer fashion. But the storm passed by just after Nick and Carolyn said I do, and could take cover inside and enjoy some time with their guests. The views did not disappoint, and the temperatures stayed in the perfect summer mountain mid seventies, it was a truly delightful day.
It’s all in the perfectly planned wedding details.
Kellie Barth with Colorado Wedding Company planned the most stunning wedding for Nick and Carolyn. From the hand painted mountain invitations by Whimsy Designs, to the incredible flowers by Bloom Flowershop. Everything came together in such a classic, romantic, and cohesive look – that showed off these two and their personalities so wonderfully. Carolyn’s Bliss by Monique Lhullier from Nordstrom wedding dress was such an incredible lace, and fit her like a glove! She had her grandmothers hanky, mother-in-laws tennis bracelet, and earrings from a trip they took together in Europe. Nick wore a cummerbund with hockey sticks on it, because of his love for the sport and his coaching of it. Not to mention the gentlemen all looked superb in their black tuxes and bowties. There were so many perfect little details that came together in an amazing way to create such an incredible wedding for these two!
This Classic Breckenridge Colorado Ten Mile Station Wedding was the most stunning mountain wedding.
Breckenridge showed off on this summer day! With the weather ups and downs, it still boasted the most stunning mountain views. Carolyn walked towards Nick first under a canopy of Evergreen trees in a private “first-look” moment. There they had some time to just be together, and quietly take in the “bigness” of their wedding day. Then she walked down the prettiest garland filled aisle, towards her almost husband with such an incredible backdrop behind them. While it was cloudy, and a touch breezy, the views went for miles; all their guests were able to enjoy such a stunning Colorado day. Everything from this mountain wedding was full of wonderful Colorado charm, and even more so, such joy for these two as they said their ” I do’s”. There was so much celebration and joy as they joined their lives together. The night ended with the grandest of parties with their band, The Rumour, keeping everyone singing their lungs out and dancing the night away.
Nick and Carolyn, as I’ve said before, I wish we could do it all all over again :). Photographing your wedding was the most wonderful honor, and I am so thankful that I got to be a part of your special day!
